Job Description
Hours: Full Time (40hrs per week)
Reports To: Venue Manager
Direct Reports: Assistant Bar Manager, Bar Staff, Cleaners, Night Concierge
Salary Range: £23,000 to £26,000 per annum
Summary of Overall Role Purpose
This role will be the senior person on site during the wedding event. An ability to use experience to manage the bar at these events, ensuring that a high level of customer service is maintained. An excellent people person with clear evidence of a professional and organised approach. A leader in presentation and attitude.
Primary Elements of the Role
· Responsibility for bar stock (new, current, and alternative), bar promotions, husbandry, venue cleanliness, safety of staff and customers.
· Accountability for fire regulations, first aid, licensing of alcohol and civil ceremonies compliance and administration.
· Increasing bar sales and reducing costs
· Responsibility for cashing up and banking and sundries purchases
· Managing staff and rotas
· Ability to manage as the senior member of staff on duty.
Job Specific Skills
· Knowledge of bar procedures and management
· Knowledge of law and health and safety in the bar setting
· Knowledge and experience in cellars
· Excellent interpersonal skill
· Smart and tidy appearance.
· Ability to work under pressure and deal with conflict and ambiguity.
Previous Experience
· Previous bar experience as a supervisor or manager.
Qualifications
· Personal licence holder or willing to qualify as a personal licence holder.
· English and Maths at GCSE grade C or above
· Full driving licence.
Other Requirements
· Over 18 years age.
· Physically able to work in this setting including the movement of barrels and stock.
· Ability to work evening and weekends.
· Must not have any criminal convictions, cautions or warnings.

Summary of Overall Role Purpose
The Senior Wedding & Event Sales Coordinator is responsible for increasing revenue through conversion following visits and using appropriate resources and channels to maximise sales. Working alongside the Venue Manager this role is responsible for attaining positive customer feedback and reviews. A commitment to ensure that the Coton House Farm provides an extremely positive and special day for all guests is essential.
Primary Elements of the Role
· To be the eyes and ears of the Venue Manager and Managing Director - the shop keeper.
· To increase event sales in both corporate events and weddings .
· To maintain and increase customer satisfaction with an emphasis on positive reviews.
· To manage catering standards of food and service on the day and beforehand to our customers’ needs and demands. This will be in assistance to the venue manager.
· To manage online drinks package sales.
· To maintain / improve standards and discipline in all staff.
· To open the new accommodation and sell our on-site accommodation and constantly improve sales revenues.
· To manage maintain and increase social media presence and help make Coton House Farm the number 1 wedding venue to be connected and viewed.
· To improve public awareness of our venue, our brand, our facilities through networking and sponsorship opportunities.
· To manage the wedding and events sales coordinators
· Build advanced working rotas to staff and ensure staff have ownership of couples and corporate events.
· Manage, ensure, and provide cover for availability of viewings
· Monitor staff emails and calls and ensure timely and professional responses.
· Manage and provide final meetings for customers.
· Manage and provide on the day coordinator role.
· Maintain audit trails and processes.
· Ensure all invoices are sent and paid in a timely fashion and debts managed appropriately.
