Role: NIGHT CONCIERGE
Hours: 40 hours week Full time 11pm-8am (With Option to work 12hr shifts 6pm-6am 3 days per week, and every 3rd week a 4 x 12 hr shifts.) working days vary according to our events, but mainly weekends. working rota’s are made available well in advance using our app software.
Reports To: (primary) Senior Coordinator, (Secondary) Venue Manager, (On Duty supervisor) Bar Manager/Assistant
Direct Reports: Security, Cleaning team.
Summary of Overall Role Purpose
· To manage the closure of the venue and see guests to their accommodation.
· Transfer couples personal and supplier items to the collection point for their removal the following day.
· Prepare the venue for the cleaning team. You may have to use wash and dry machines preparing the cleaning teams linen.
· Sweep, litter collect, tidy outside patios and gardens.
· Jetwash, hose, down patios.
· Respond to minor repairs/bulb changes that need attending to at the venue.
· Respond to overnight guests needs, emergencies and advice.
· Maintain the security of the venue and guests.
· Provide access to the cleaning team.
· Prepare the venue for handover to the morning concierge staff and provide an auditable handover.
· Overnight work – 11pm-8am including weekends. If you choose to work 6pm-6am then from 6pm you will greet the arrival of evening guests and assist parking and taxi arrivals. You will become the main key holder for supplier and guest arrivals. Upon guests egress the remaining duties continue.

Security Guard
Required on a casual basis for a potential of over 100 events per year at 8 hours per shift, Usually 6pm-2am including weekends.
This role is mainly foot patrol around the car park as a meet and greet, assisting guests and taxis with arrivals and departures.
You will also be required to respond to the opening and closing of rear gates for authorised deliveries and drop off.
General security of all buildings and ensuring security of locked doors.
this role is for someone who communicates well and encourages a peaceful and quiet exit from our venue. This role is about discouraging and reporting any inappropriate conduct and responding to any first aid or emergency access requirements. You will be the face of the venue and so maintaining the best service for our guests.
This is not a club doorman role, this is about communication and assisting our guests.
A full car driving licence without any points or convictions would be an advantage should you be needed for some additional chauffeuring Role.

Salary Range: £19,000 to £22,000 per annum
Summary of Overall Role Purpose
Although this role has an expectation to step into the role of Bar Manager when required, the primary aim is to work alongside the Bar Manager to increase bar sales, while ensuring that customer service is of the highest standard.Excellent interpersonal skills and a professional attitude.
Primary Elements of the Role
· Steps into Bar Manager role when required
· Responsibility for bar stock (new, current, and alternative), bar promotions, husbandry, venue cleanliness, safety of staff and customers.
· Accountability for fire regulations, first aid, licensing of alcohol and civil ceremonies compliance and administration.
· Increasing bar sales and reducing costs
· Responsibility for cashing up and banking and sundries purchases
· A leader in presentation and attitude.
Job Specific Skills
· Knowledge of bar procedures and management
· Knowledge of law and health and safety in the bar setting
· Knowledge and experience in cellars
· Smart and tidy appearance.
· Ability to work under pressure and deal with conflict and ambiguity.
Previous Experience
· Previous bar experience as a supervisor or manager.
Qualifications
· Personal licence holder or willing to qualify as a personal licence holder.
· Full clean driving licence for cars B.
Other Requirements
· Over 18 years age.
· Physically able to work in this setting including the movement of barrels and stock.
· Ability to work evening and weekends.
· Must not have any criminal convictions , cautions or warnings.
